Online Magazine for and about Songwriters
Review by Stacey Board
"...She has a gift for the unexpected yet still simply beautiful melody.
There is also a straightforward simplicity to her lyrics but also a sharp flip side that
is just as sincere and as potent..."

"Best of 2002" Sound and Spirit CD Reviews by Don Strong
"Driving With You" (Meg Tennant).
Meg's impeccable recording is a tasty mix of West-Coast pop and urban folk with a generous
dollop of down-home country and bluegrass. Her producer John Ellis does a luminous job
adorning and framing Meg's tunes and voice with pristine guitars, mandolin, bass, blues
harp and fiddle. The effect on "Maker of Marimbas" is airy, mysterious and
Celtic-like. I love it. Not to forget her bluesy country side, "Buddy's Back"
has a great groove (think Harper Valley PTA" with a rockabilly beat!).
Singer/songwriter Meg Tennant's Driving With You is rich and dreamy -- an
auspicious musical maiden voyage that you won't want to miss. Catch the ride!
